Matteo’s Candlelight Wine Dinner!
Matteo’s, the Casual Italian Restaurant in the Grand Pacific Junction of Olmsted Falls hosted their first wine dinner on Wednesday, November 4th. It featured five courses of Chef Tony’s outstanding dishes highlighted by Osso em Bucco over Rosotto. The wine was specatular as Dante Rivetti from the Rivetti Vineyards in Piedmont Italy was in attendance. The Rivetti wines were nicely paired with the courses.
The event was sold out and everyone in attendance had a great time. Rivetti offered special prices for purchase on the featured wines, as well as wines from his private stock that are only available on a selected basis. The wines were so well received that Matteo’s complete sold out.
Matteo’s will be having their next wine dinner and it’s going to be a special event. It’s going to feature a candlelight dinner to celebrate Christmas on Wednesday, December 16th. This dinner will be a bit different where we will be offering a choice of 3 menu items and wines from ?? that pair well with the meal options.
